Heavy rain accompanied by thunder lashed Krishnagiri district on Thursaday evening for about two hours.
Krishnagiri town, Kaveripattinam, Bargur and surrounding areas experienced heavy
rain. Flood water has entered low-lying
areas.
Power supply was affected in most part of the district. Power supply was stopped as a precautionary
measure in Krishnagiri and the surrounding
villages.
