Banking operations remained crippled in Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts as the nation-wide strike of bank staff entered the second day on Friday.
Over 60 employees staged a demonstration in front of Indian Bank Regional Office in Dharmapuri on Friday. Ramanathan, Regional Secretary, AIBOC; N. Ramamurthy, District Secretary AIBEA; P.S. Dilli Babu, MLA, spoke.Ten members of All India Insurance Employees Union staged a demonstration in front of LIC office in Dharmapuri on Friday to show solidarity to the striking bank staff.
