The Congress, which is ruling the nation for the past 10
years, has failed to meet the expectations of the people, said K.P.
Munusamy, Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development,
Prisons, Law and Justice, here on Monday.
As part of
the election campaign in Mathur Panchayat Union on Monday, Mr. Munusamy
said that the AIADMK was the only party facing the Lok Sabha elections
with confidence.
Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was the
first leader to announce party candidates and begin campaigning much
ahead of all the other party leaders.Whereas the other national and
regional political parties are yet to close their alliance, this shows
that the parties do not have self confidence in their winning chance, he
said.He said that the Chief Minister implemented all her 54 promises
made during the 2011 Assembly elections in 33 months and gained people’s
support.AIADMK candidate K Ashok Kumar and party’s Krishnagiri Lok
Sabha election in-charge Purasai K. Selvam accompanied Mr. Munusamy
while he campaigned in 84 villages.
