DMDK leader Vijayakant at an election meeting in Dharmapuri |
Canvassing for the NDA candidate for over 20 minutes, Mr. Vijaykant
avoided mentioning the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) and names of its
candidates, PMK’s State president G.K. Mani in Krishnagiri as well as
Anbumani Ramadoss in Dharmapuri. He charged that both the DMK and the
AIADMK governments were anti-people and said that he hated politics
based on caste and communal lines.
He said that the water from Rs 1928.80-crore Hogenakkal Drinking Water
and Fluorosis Mitigation scheme was yet to reach many areas in both the
districts and dubbed the claims of the State government as false. While
winding up his speech in Santhaipettai in Dharmapuri, Mr. Vijayakanth

nominees of the BJP-led alliance.
