Certificate verification process for teachers' posts begins


The process of verifying the certificates of 732 candidates to fill in the vacancies for the post of Graduate Assistants in Government High and Middle Schools began in Krishnagiri on Wednesday.

Chief Education Officer M. Baskaran inspected the verification process at the Government Boys High Secondary School in Krishnagiri.

Speaking to The Hindu, he said that nine teams were involved in verification process. The selection would be done on the basis of 1:5 of the total candidates invited through employment exchanges for the certificate verification on seniority basis.

The process would lasts for another three days. The list of candidates (subject wise) called for the verification has been released in the website of the Teachers Recruitment Boar (TRB).

Those who have not received letter from TRB for certificate verification can download the selection list and participate in the verification camp. Candidates have been asked to bring four copies of passport size photograph and identity card with their photo pasted and attested by a competent authority.

As many as 31,170 candidates were called for filling up of the 6,332 posts lying vacant in various Government High and Middle schools across the State.

Over 390 posts are vacant for Graduate Assistants out of the 2,042 sanctioned in various subjects in Krishnagiri district, Mr. Baskaran said.
