There are no major announcements that could rekindle the
development activities in Krishnagiri district in the Chief Minister’s
speech that was made at the end of the three-day conference of the
District Collectors and Superintendents of Police in Chennai on
Wednesday.
Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has announced
that three temporary check-posts established by the police bordering
Karnataka at Anekkal, TVS and either Poonapalli or Neralagiri would be
made permanent and necessary structures would be provided.
The decisions were taken based on the request made by Superintendent of Police M. Ashok Kumar.
