Ten persons including a three-year-old girl were injured
when an acid bottle being carried in a cloth bag broke inside a private
bus on Saturday.
The bus was travelling on the flyover above Dam Road
on Krishnagiri-Salem National Highway when the bottle shattered,
allegedly due to a jolt. The injured persons were treated at Government
Headquarters Hospital in Krishnagiri.
Kaveripattinam police have
registered a case. The man was produced in a magistrate court in
Krishnagiri and remanded in judicial custody.
